Context Editorial Design
As part of my term project for Stephine Serrato’s Type 4 class, I curated a concept for an exhibition that focuses on art and language in modern and contemporary art movements. The exhibition highlights the rise of conceptual art through the work of artists that uses writing as an abstract art form. Artists featured in this exhibition include; Hannah Höch, Raoul Hausmann, Jenny Holzer, Lawerence Weiner, Kay Rosen, Paul Elliman, Bruce Nauman, and Cerith Wyn Evans.

The final deliverables included a 132-page editorial design for the exhibition along with a series of promotional posters. The visual aesthetic of this project uses a limited color palette that is inspired by textures found in heavily text-based documents. Yellow is used as an emphasis color, highlighting elements of the design and allow informational hierarchy.
