Background

Each year, over 16 million visitors come to Irvine Spectrum Center for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The brand needed to move beyond being just a retail destination and capture the spirit of discovery that defines Southern California living, from fashion finds and al fresco dining to late-night rides on the Giant Wheel.

Approach

I played a key role in bringing the Spectrum’s evergreen campaign to life, creating a visual system inspired by the idea of a wide spectrum of experiences. We introduced gradient color bars as a flexible graphic language that could stretch across retail, dining, and entertainment moments. This system paired architectural beauty with real human energy, positioning the Spectrum not just as a place to shop, but as a dynamic, open-air destination where life, style, and connection meet.
